To help you plan a smooth arrival at Casa Santangelo Suites, we’ve gathered some practical information about how to reach us, parking options, and access to the historic centre (ZTL).

Arriving by train
From Salerno train station, Casa Santangelo is about 5 minutes by taxi or approximately 15–20 minutes on foot through the city centre.
Arriving by plane
The closest airports are Naples International Airport (NAP) and the Salerno – Costa d’Amalfi Airport. From there, you can reach Salerno by train, bus, private transfer or rental car.
Arriving by car & ZTL
Casa Santangelo is located inside Salerno’s historic centre, which is a limited traffic zone (ZTL). Access by car is allowed for our guests, but we generally do not recommend driving through the ZTL: the streets are very narrow and manoeuvring can be challenging, especially with larger vehicles.
If you still wish to enter the ZTL by car, it is possible. In this case, please contact us before your arrival (or no later than midnight on the day of arrival), so we can register your car with the Municipality of Salerno.
We will need a photo of your vehicle registration document (carta di circolazione). Once we receive it, we will submit the required communication to the local authorities on your behalf.
Parking recommendation – Parcheggio Libertà
For guests arriving by car, we strongly recommend parking at Parcheggio Libertà, a large underground car park along the seafront, within walking distance of Casa Santangelo.

We suggest parking in Sector 2 or Sector 4, which are convenient for reaching the historic centre on foot.
Weekly pass
If you are staying more than three days, we recommend purchasing the weekly pass (€70). This pass allows you to:
- Enter and exit the car park freely, or
- Leave the car parked 24/7 for one week.
How to buy the weekly pass
- At the entrance, take the normal parking ticket from the barrier.
- Park your car in Sector 2 or 4.
- Go to the automatic payment machine inside the car park.
- Insert your ticket and select the weekly pass option.
- Pay the amount shown and keep the ticket: it will act as your pass for the week.
From the car park to Casa Santangelo
Once you have parked at Parcheggio Libertà, you can reach Casa Santangelo with a pleasant walk through the seafront and the old town. The walk usually takes around 5 minutes.
